Summer is here!!

Hello hello! I feel like I haven’t updated this blog in ages.

So right now, it’s summer! Or… Well… “Summer” was only 1.5 weeks for me – I’m stuck in LA taking summer school. =// It’s kinda scary ’cause I’m doing two sessions, and each session is 6 weeks long. I’m taking two classes per session. Imagine 2 classes’ worth of material for 10 weeks, all condensed into 6 weeks!! WoooaaAAAhhh, that’s fast!! Insanely fast. I think I can do it – just need to study more diligently ahaha… Sad, I can’t believe my freshman year in college is OVER already!

So I’m living in the apartments for the summer. It’s been an interesting experience having to take care of myself. And I mean, REALLY take care of myself. Dorm experiences are lies – you walk out of your room knowing you will get food from the dining halls, and you don’t have to clean up after yourself (don’t forget about the bathroom) or worry about ingredients for food.. =// I suppose you also have to worry about not burning down the apartment too. xD

The library computers have Adobe Photoshop CS4!! Woooooot!! Sounds like a promising new layout is comin’… ;D Maybe, hahaha. Probably not though, I’m only in the library between classes. =//

I shall try to update this more often! But in the meantime, see ya!

Fixed Wordpress

So… I finally fixed Wordpress!! Woot!!!

I hate those Wordpress updates… And for some reason, I keep on getting all these weird and dumb Wordpress spam comments!! >.< So annoying, so I've disabled comments for now. =]]

Anyway, it is currently Week 5 of Spring Quarter. It's amazing just how much time flies by! Where in the world did my freshman year of college go..?! =,[[

So I'm taking Organic Chemistry right now. My midterm is next week, and I'm still on Chapter 1... -___-;; *sigh* Resonance is kind of hard to understand, conjugation and aromaticity are ok, but boy oh boy Stereochemistry and Carbohydrates sound..!! Not.. >.< But hey, at least I’m done with thermodynamics and kinetics. For now, at least.

I’ll be taking summer school this year, and I figured…. Why not make a new layout then?!? =]] Hehehehe. xD I just need to get Adobe Photoshop CS on my laptop… =P

I’ve also been thinking of turning this aimless blog into something useful, like writing down what I have learned in church or in areas I struggle with. Thing is, this kind of blog is something that I would really like to look back on in the years to come, and we all know web servers tend to just come and go… Maybe I can start something on Tumblr/Blogspot/Xanga, and link it to here!! =P Hmm, I’ll see how much time I have before summer school starts.. =P

School has been pretty hectic for me. Men&Women’s Retreat was this past Friday night/Saturday, and it was pretty cool! I’m sick though – some people were sick at the retreat, and it probably didn’t help that I didn’t get enough sleep and ate Cup-A-Noodles, top ramen, and Bruin Cafe stuff all last week.. =// Yeeeah, I had a 2-midterm + paper + neglected math homework due all last week. =// So yeah, couldn’t say I didn’t see this coming.. x___x;;

I’ve been pretty homesick as well. Guess it doesn’t help that both my roommates are gone for the weekend and that I’m sick, hahah. =P This is like, my first Chinese New Year without my family… =,[[

Hmm, I'll last. Hahaha. Week 7, got 4 more weeks to go until I can go home for spring break, woot!! =]] Plus, I’m relying on the CNY potluck tonight in the apartments to bring my mood back up. =P
